Certification ensures your colleagues and/or potential clients or employers that you or your organization has an understanding of strategic workforce planning in practice− a basic grasp of the implementation process, and interdependencies of stakeholders who participate in strategic workforce planning as a repeatable measurable business process. What are the different types of certifications?

The SWPA program includes certifications for individuals or corporations. Go to certificates for more information.

Do I have to be a member of the Strategic Workforce Planning Academy to get certified?

Yes, certification fees are built into the cost of membership.

If I am certified, do I still have to pay for a membership?

If you are already certified, you are a member of the SWPA. However, you must renew your membership annually to retain your benefits, including the validity of your certification.

Do I have to pay to access Strategic Workforce Planning Academy Online?

No, you do not have to pay to access the learning program, tests, and implementation templates. Membership is free. Certifications are free through 2019. After that you pay to get certified and receive SHRM continuing education credits for the course. Certifications and annual re-certifications will be $250 per person; group rates are available for corporate members.

How do I or my company get certified?

You must complete the pre-work, introduction and 8 course modules under the “Certification Modules” tab and achieve a minimum 75% score on each module quiz. Once you have successfully completed all 8 modules, you can get your Strategic Workforce Planning certification. Please visit the “Certification” tab for more information.

How can I or/my company become a member?

Simply go to membership and sign up where indicated. Membership is free. Certifications are free through 2019. Your credit card will not be charged if you complete your certification by the end of 2019. After that, to get certified, you can pay by credit card or be invoiced. Simply indicate your preference when you fill out the online form.
